Mid-November Farm Update

With the recent growth and development of our family, farm, and homestead – we wanted to take the time to continue sharing it all with you here in the blog as well.

In family news, The Kraut Guy and The Soap Lady here at the farm are proud grandparents.  Rob is enjoying his role as an uncle and everyone is happy and healthy here on the homestead.

2020 has been quite the year in many ways, and like many people in the world, we’ve had to make some adjustments to our life as well, with many changes being positive.

York Meadow Farm continues to offer new products, from both The Kraut Guy and The Soap Lady.  Uncle Rob is working on scaling up his kombucha operation in a similar fashion as well.

We’ve expanded into new markets this year, selling at new locations such as The Market Exchange and online through Yellow House Cheese’s store.  The new farmers market at the VFW has gone very well this year, with the market extending into the winter season.

The Farmers Market of Medina County have decided to do a longer holiday market on the weekend before Thanksgiving, from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

This month, we began our first email campaign in an attempt to begin more consistent communication from the farm and homestead to our customers and subscribers.

Accordingly, a quick blog post update seemed appropriate as well.  Perhaps even more appropriate to continue with the blog posts during a year such as the one we are in.

Many people will remember this year as chaotic, and while they may not necessarily be wrong, it is important to remember that in the midst of chaos there is also opportunity.

Life happens on life terms, like Dave Ramsey says...and we will continue to do our best making and sharing products with you to make life’s terms that much better for you and your family.

As we approach the winter season, we will also be taking time to reflect on the past season and think about the upcoming season, feeling grateful for all that we have and can share with you.

We look forward to more brief updates like this from the farm and homestead as time goes on.

Thanks everyone and have a great week!
